Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Sales to join our team in Chennai, India. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive our sales strategy, lead a high-performing sales team, and contribute significantly to our organization’s growth and success.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational goals and market trends
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed targets
  • Analyze market data and sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients
  • Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key clients and partners
  • Forecast sales, set targets, and create detailed action plans to achieve revenue goals
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance and market trends
  • Stay ahead of industry developments and competitor activities to maintain our competitive edge
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and high-level client meetings
  • Drive innovation in sales processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Commerce; MBA preferred
  • Proven track record of success in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in a related industry
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing sales strategies that drive significant revenue growth
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze complex data and extract actionable insights
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating high-performing sales teams
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools
  • In-depth knowledge of the Indian market landscape and business practices
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, goal-oriented approach to achieving targets
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making
  • Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and emerging trends in the industry
