Principal Product Definition Engineer – Shape the Future of Power ICs
Location: Biel, Switzerland
Are you an SMPS expert with a passion for defining high-performance power ICs? If you thrive on taking ideas from concept to production, this role is designed for you.
We’re looking for a seasoned power electronics innovator—someone who understands offline and automotive power conversion inside out and is eager to drive the next wave of high-voltage AC-DC IC solutions.
Expected Experience :
– You’ve spent 15+ years designing switch-mode power supplies (50W–3kW) and know the power IC development cycle like the back of your hand.
– You’re an expert in control loops, magnetics, and high-voltage power conversion (85-477VAC, 400-1kV DC).
– You want to own the product definition process, ensuring ICs are optimized for efficiency, cost, and real-world application.
– You’re comfortable leading technical discussions, working cross-functionally, and helping customers integrate breakthrough power solutions.

– Define & Specify Next-Gen Power ICs – Your deep system understanding will shape innovative solutions for the market.
– Prototype & Validate Concepts – Work with advanced simulation tools and hands-on lab testing before IC design.
