Sales Manager (m/f/d) Specialty Chemicals
Your responsibilities include
Commercial :
- Direct sales in defined countries within the EMEA market (German speaking countries will be your first assignment) by direct approach to customers and prospects
- Manage existing distributors and propose necessary changes to supervisor
- Responsible for sales of the customers he/she is in charge of
Technical Marketing:
- Participates in the competitive and technological intelligence
- Participates in the creation of marketing documents
- Participates in the organization of fairs taking place on his/her territory
- Provides the necessary technical support to customers with the support of the teams in Europe and Japan
This is your job profile
- Successfully completed technical education, alternatively commercial education with strong technical background, e.g. Chemist or Chemical Engineer. Masters‘ degree is highly preferred.
- Know-how of at least some of the targeted segments required: Household Cleaners, Polyurethane, Inks, Fragrance & Flavor, Air Care, Cosmetics, etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of chemical products to the targeted segment preferred
- Profile as Business Developer desired
- Proficiency in business English as well as business German mandatory
- Travel requirement: frequent business trips, large majority in Europe
- Experience and inclination to work in an international environment
- Prospection skills necessary
- Working with autonomy and results-oriented work attitude
- Good team player with excellent communication skills, ability to deal with global/remote teams comprised of people coming from different cultures and nationalities
