Core Responsibilities:Responsible for the toplines sales targets in the countries of responsibility including forecast Accuracy (24 rolling months).Responsible for the Financial Performance KPIs (including MP).Responsible for proposing the following year budget proposal (sales, selling cost, MP) and following up during running year.People Manager: Responsible for hiring, coaching and developing the Local Marketing and Sales team.Responsible for the implementation of the strategy in the region.Accountable for Country Marketing plan in the regionMain activities:People ManagerSteering the Marketing and the Sales team for performance and customer focus and creating team spirit.Lead Feedback and Coaching conversations, considering training plans to ensure people development within our Values.Performance evaluations, merit and ratings, Succession planning, using all HR instruments, guidelines, procedures existing to develop the team.Accountable for Country marketing plan in the regionDevelops country marketing/ business plan together with local team including crop strategies and business opportunities.Develop our strategy for the countries and implement this accordingly.Initiate customer centric initiatives linked to the customer experience strategy & develops with the team a customer experience improvement plan.Develop and monitor performance with key accounts and ensure good KAM within the countries including Distributors.Ensure a proper segmentation of the customers including Service Level Agreements linked to every customer segmentResponsible for developing synergies with BASF Agrigulture Products in the regionResponsible for the Market PerformanceResponsible for commercial policies and tactical pricing tools (rebates, loyalty programs, T&C etc) and acts on volatilities in exchange rates in line with the defined regional guidelines (net price, minimum price)Responsible for all M&S expenses within the regionResponsible for reaching the Basic Plan within the country in Actual RateAccountable on Short term (CY and CY+1) Forecast for Financials (best estimate) and Seeds supply.Responsible for CY and CY+1 Forecast Accuracy together with sales teamBalances supply and demand in seed quantity together with demand planners and customer service, taking into account:exclusive agreements with customers signed offseason patterns, market conditions today and impact on steering the supplymeeting the needs of the customers (on time, quality), Seed shortages.All activities executed in this role are done in line with the applicable BASF RC- and EHS-guidelines and the relevant Local Law.What we expect:Skills/Qualifications:Agricultural engineering degree with experience in marketing & sales. Bachelor/master’s in business administration is a plus.At least 5 years of experience in similar role.Good understanding of the country business culture.Good understanding of different cultures.
