Reporting directly to the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, you will work closely with the Mabanaft Leadership Team to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic transactions that drive our business forward. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will help shape our portfolio and contribute to long-term value creation in a dynamic and future-oriented environment.Your Tasks In a Nutshell:M&A Project Execution: Lead and/or support the end-to-end execution of domestic and international M&A projects, with a focus on buy-side transactions. This includes project steering, stakeholder management, financial modeling, preparation of decision papers for senior leadership, and negotiation of transaction documentation.Integration Planning: Collaborate with the Transformation Office to plan and prepare integration activities, ensuring seamless alignment with business objectives.Strategic Planning: Support the development of group and segmental M&A strategies, providing valuable insights to shape our long-term growth agenda.Target Identification & Analysis: Work closely with business segments to identify and analyze potential acquisition targets, driving strategic expansion opportunities.Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement of internal M&A capabilities and governance, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent the M&A function in cross-functional initiatives, working closely with departments such as strategy, treasury, finance, and transformation.
