As Lead Planning & Performance Business Partner, you will have overall responsibility for all financial planning and performance of the market. You’ll be responsible for being the key link between the in-market team & the Close and Control (C&C) and Planning and Forecasting (P&F) Hubs in Poland. You will also be responsible for consolidating full P&L for both actuals & plan and understand the link between actual & plan. You’ll provide strong support to the local FD and Finance team, and will report into the Finance VP Germany.

Success in this role requires the ability to interpret and present financial data using analytical and statistical modelling to facilitate decision making and provide recommendations, to interface with senior management, lead and drive change on appropriate level.

  • Act as trusted advisor to business leaders, the right-hand (wo)man of Finance VP
  • Responsible for consolidating full P&L (actual and plan) and review with senior management team
  • Understand the link between plan & actuals, analyse the gap, challenge business for variations and define future growth plans
  • Being the centre point for all plan & forecasting assumptions & drivers of business performance
  • Being the key interface between the FD and the regional hubs and ensuring joint effective ways of working to support the market and OneFinance
  • Responsible for the reporting of financial results for their market commentary for full P&L
  • Ensure budgeting and forecasting processes are carried out and reviewed & signed off
  • Understand the value drivers of the business and provides guidance on market performance including ROI, scenario planning, KPI analysis and benchmarking
  • Act as point of contact on the operating model within the market team and provide support to wider market team where there are questions or challenges
  • Lead on close working with the Hub teams, in line with the OneFinance culture to create a single market team

Why you?

Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • Proven IFRS knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience in Finance (FP&A, Partnering & Controllership), ideally in life science industry
  • Excellent understanding of Financial Accounting Standards and Principles
  • Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Excellent ability to interpret and present financial data using analytical and statistical modelling to facilitate decision making and provide recommendations
  • Understanding of commercial decisions and their impact on financial performance and targets
  • Excellent commercial acumen to drive business value with market specific insight of financial data
  • Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with key corporate business stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to influence others
  • Knowledge of German
