We are hiring a System Engineer (M/F) for a renowned Swiss organization based in Zurich.
Tasks
- All-rounder hands-on tasks that include: escalated support assistance, interacting with internal clients, ensuring data security, maintaining physical and virtual server infrastructure, and ongoing performance tuning on prod/preprod/validation/integration environments.
- 24/7 third level support on Windows servers, Redhat servers, VMware infrastructure on prod (regulated) environment.
Main Characteristics/Scope
- Support of VMware infrastructure in Dübendorf running on Prod/Preprod/Validation and Integration.
- Support of future VMware Enterprise Edge infrastructure in Dübendorf and Geneva running on Prod and Preprod.
- Support of RedHat and Windows servers.
- Support of storage and backup infrastructure.
- Automation of recurring tasks and creation of base images for Redhat and Windows servers.
Additional Tasks
- Understand existing technical environment, systems, processes, and tools.
- Support assistance and interact with internal clients, ensuring data security, maintaining physical and virtual server infrastructure, backup infrastructure, and ongoing performance tuning.
- Troubleshooting, incident management (recovery, repair), and daily monitoring of existing systems.
- Creation/update of documentation and procedures.
Requirements
Experience in Tools
- Jira, Confluence
Technical Competences and Skills
- Extensive experience with infrastructure management and monitoring.
- Expertise in virtualized infrastructure running under VMware.
- Expertise in OS Redhat or Windows servers.
- Extensive experience with SAN storage (HPE).
- Extensive experience with backup infrastructure running under Veeam. Datacenter experience, with both virtual and bare metal hosts.

- If we see potential for working together in an Enova collaboration, we present you during a final interview the contract we would like to propose, ideally in our office.
During this recruitment process, we communicate by phone and email, and we can invite you to meet our teams in our office or the client’s team.
