YOUR MISSION
- Capture requirements, assess feasibility, and define initial design concepts for integrated avionics systems
- Lead the design, development, integration, testing, and certification of complex avionics projects
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations for seamless system certification
- Draft and review system requirement documents and certification engineering reports
- Conduct System Safety Analysis and Functional Hazard Analysis
- Manage external suppliers and collaborate with customers, procurement, sales, and regulatory authorities
- Contribute to pioneering technology and innovation projects
- Provide expert technical guidance to production and customer support teams
YOUR EXPERIENCE & TALENTS
- Strong expertise in designing and integrating avionics systems, including electronic displays, navigation, communication, utilities, and aircraft electrical power systems
- Solid knowledge of EFIS, FMS, and FCS systems, with additional experience in EW, ECM, and Weapon Systems being an advantage
- Deep understanding of FAA/EASA/MAA certification requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance for system certification
- Proven track record of managing complex avionics projects, including supplier coordination and stakeholder communication at a technical level
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive under challenging deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Outstanding ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Fluency in English (C1). Conversational German skills are an advantage.
