Group Taxation is responsible for fulfilling the legal tax obligations of Munich Reinsurance Company and its domestic subsidiaries, for Munich Re Group’s tax reporting and for providing tax advice in all areas of national and international tax law.
The Tax Reporting GLOBE/CBCR department prepares Munich Re Group’s country-by-country reporting (CbCR) and the Tax Transparency Report for sustainability reporting. We are responsible for the Group-wide implementation of global minimum taxation (OECD Pillar 2/GloBE), advise Munich Re Group on global minimum taxation issues and provide a Group-wide tax reporting tool. The department is responsible for lobbying on CbCR and GloBE and for monitoring new trends and standards in tax reporting.
Your Job
- Implementation of global minimum taxation in the processes and IT solutions of the Munich Re Group
- Assessment of special issues related to global minimum taxation
- Coordination of processes with the international organization on the topic of global minimum taxation
- Analysis and quality assurance of the subsidiaries‘ data reporting on global minimum taxation
- Management of central data generation and processing
- Central reporting and declaration obligations
- Support and conceptual development of Munich Re Group’s country-by-country reporting
- Preparation of Munich Re Group’s Tax Transparency Report
Your Profile - Degree in law, economics, finance or related disciplines
- Professional experience in reporting (tax or accounting), in an audit or tax consulting firm, in the tax or accounting department of an international (group) company, or in financial administration
- Enjoy working with data and processes
- Interest in developing and implementing new solutions (IT applications, tools, digitalization, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and quick comprehension
- Solution-oriented, independent and responsible work style
- Team player and proactive communication style
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Microsoft 365
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
