Your Tasks

As a Strategic Sourcer (m/f/d) you will support procurement projects at group and local level. You manage the relationship with suppliers, drive the implementation of the global category strategy and execute project strategies. You are responsible for the achievement of targets and provide support for alliance members during contract duration. This includes the following tasks:

  • Procurement Lead and Support of SW contracts/projects in the area IT Infrastructure SW, consult stakeholders on best practices
  • Analyse, bundle and negotiate demands in the area of IT Infrastructure SW
  • Lead RFx and negotiations with suppliers
  • Execute cost optimization levers
  • Stakeholder and supplier relationship management
  • Market Research
  • Contract Management,(including legal alignment & the administration / reporting)
  • Scale projects and negotiations between Deutsche Telekom and Orange

Your Profile

You hold a University degree or an MBA in the area of Procurement, Computer Science, Mathematics, Natural Science, Business Economics, Engineering degree in IT or Telecommunications, or a qualification of the same level.

You also possess the following skills and experience:

  • Knowledge and interest of telecommunication and information technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong synthetic and analytical skills to select and highlight key facts
  • Customer Orientation
  • Capacity to work in a multi-cultural and fast-changing environment
  • Fluency in English and either French or German
  • Willingness to travel
  • Be ready for a fast-changing environment and flexible for changing scope
