UPM Biochemicals is looking for a Sales Director (m/f/d) bio-Glycols.
What you will do
- Lead and Manage the Glycols Sales Team and our extended sales team, with global responsibility
- Create demand for sustainable glycols and lead the relevant accounts to positive business results
- Establish relationships to key players along the value chain (including the final customers e.g. the FMCG-goods-producers)
- Develop and continuously refine appealing value-propositions for each target segment
- Gain and provide thorough understanding of relevant market segments and create specific segment entry strategies
- Be part of internal projects and other measures to grow Biochemicals
- Collaborate with other teams, ensure seamless communication among UPM Biochemicals and network within UPM Corporation
- Be the first contact within UPM Biochemicals for all glycol-related customer activities such as logistics and finance
- Support management in strategic planning and corporate decision-making process
Who you are
- You have a master\’s degree in business administration or other relevant subjects – a degree in chemistry is a plus but not a necessary pre-condition
- You have at least 7+ years of relevant work experiences as a sales manager or product manager in chemicals ideally in the MEG (Monoethyleneglycol) value chain, virgin PET (Polyethylenterephthalate), recycled PET, PTA (para-Terephthalic acid) or MPG (Monopropyleneglycol) market, most preferably in global/international roles
- You have a history of effective sales developments
- You are focused on developing sustainable solutions in the chemical industry
- You have wider suitable chemical industry environment knowledge
- You value constructive feedback (receiving and providing)
- You are able to bring analysis to conclusions and translating those to clear targets and actions resulting in business
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and positive spirit combined with solid influencing and collaboration skills
- You are proactive and long-term thinking, identify solutions in conflicting requirements and high tolerance for ambiguity
- You appreciate to work in a complex business environment and have talent for agile teamwork and expertise in networking
- You have cognitive empathy and emotional empathy skills
- You are open to new occurring situations & products
