This position reports to

Global Product Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Following and understand market and customer requirements and their impact on the product/solutions as well as continuous monitoring of the existing portfolio. Identify business opportunities, managing the technical specification of products/solution assigned and developing business cases for product developments. Carry the customer’s voice in the organization and support operational functions with product management activities. Keep Agile Units, sales and channels informed on topics related to the portfolio, such as new product/system availability, market movements, competition, and information related to the operation. Follow up business performance in a regular manner for assigned products or services and drive improvement actions. Support Marketing & Communication team with appropriated content and documentation for promotional and marketing communication activities. Maintain and follow annual cycle of activities to govern product management for assigned products/solutions. Cooperate
closely with related ABB system solution offerings to realize channeling of products. Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• Experience in product management working in electrification/automation business and having experience about intelligent industrial electronic products, holding a technical background.
• Experience with intelligent industrial electronic products, industrial Ethernet protocols and PLC/DCS device integration.
• Ambitious and self-motivated mindset, with strong customer focus combined with market and competitor awareness as well as a solid team player with an independent and solution-oriented working style.
• Resilient in an agile and changing environment, and structured and able to grasp the bigger picture.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken alike, whereas knowledge of German is meritorious.
