- Simulate strong-field QED effects of laser-electron, laser-photon and electron-positron collisions at various energies and intensities
- Develop an optimised LUXE electron-detection system based on simulations and test measurement campaigns
- Conduct measurement campaigns with corresponding prototypes at DESY and SLAC
- Evaluate the opportunities to study strong-field QED effects at high-energy lepton colliders, and vice-versa the impact of strong-field QED on the design of colliders and their detectors
