We are looking for a HSE training Coordinator for our Power Plant Construction project in Germany.
The mission is to deliver training courses as per the training matrix for all staff on the assigned project, ensuring appropriate checks to assess attendees‘ knowledge.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare HSE orientation, induction, and specific training programs for the project workforce in line with the approved training matrix.
- Conduct internal awareness training as needed.
- Implement competency assessments to verify workers‘ ability to safely perform assigned tasks.
- Maintain an up-to-date training matrix with a database of trainee names.
- Ensure a final test is conducted to verify trainees’ knowledge and the training’s effectiveness.
- Ensure HSE Inspectors monitor the training’s effectiveness on-site and provide coaching as required.
- Provide the Project HSE Manager with training data, hours, and feedback on training effectiveness.
- Coordinate with the Project HSE Manager and HR Department for any external training needs with approved Training Centres/Organizations.
Requirements:
- Internationally recognized qualification in HSE Management (BSc, NEBOSH, or equivalent), preferably with an engineering background.
- Knowledge of HSE standards (e.g., ISO 45001/14001).
- Familiarity with international best practices (e.g., iOGP, OSHA, BS/AS/NZ).
- At least 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Fluent in Business English (C2 or equivalent).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster a positive working environment.
