Sustainable Agronomy Manager – Procurement – located in Geneva (w/m/d)

Job Description:

Your Future

1. You develop the medium to long-term agricultural strategy based on the corporate strategy and the SBTi goals.
2. You coordinate CSR activities with the CSR department and the international procurement team.
3. You align agricultural activities with the sustainability and corporate strategies of the Lorenz Group.
4. You lead and accompany projects related to agriculture and promote strategic partnerships.
5. You screen the markets for innovations and keep yourself up to date with new technologies in agriculture.
6. You develop and promote the strategy for regenerative agriculture.
7. You observe the development of crops and technologies and derive measures for cost optimization from them.
8. You develop results and recommendations and coordinate them with internal and external stakeholders.
9. You are responsible for the risk assessment of the supplier portfolio with regard to sustainability.
10. You support compliance with legal regulations (LKSG, EUDR, CSRD).

Your Profile

1. You have a university degree in agronomy, agricultural science, agricultural engineering or an equivalent qualification.
2. You have 3-5 years of experience in agriculture, ideally also in CSR-related projects and the FMCG or food industry.
3. You can build strong internal and external networks and communicate with various stakeholders and form partnerships.
4. You are a strategic thinker with an eye for the big picture and can drive change in the organization.
5. You have a high level of personal responsibility.
6. You have intercultural competence, communication skills and are a result-oriented, stress-resistant team player.
7. You are fluent in English and German; Polish is an advantage.
