TT-Line is one of the leading ferry companies in the Baltic Sea, using modern ferries between Germany, Poland, Lithuania and Sweden. TT-Line carries over 1,000,000 passengers and more than 500,000 freight units annually on its 4 routes, making it the market leader in southern Sweden traffic. TT-Line currently employs around 900 people on board and in the land offices in Travemünde, Rostock, Trelleborg, Karlshamn, Świnoujście / Szczecin and Klaipėda.
For the support of our Technical / Nautical Inspection department, we are looking for a:
Naval Architect / Technical Project Manager (m/f/d)
- Researching, comparing and assessing new technologies and technical improvements
- Project lead of dedicated technical projects, internal and external communication e.g. with suppliers, class and flag
- Cost to benefit analysis and life cycle cost analysis
- Creating and updating technical documentations (drawings, datasheets, instructions)
- Close communication with the fleet operation, technical superintendence and the S&Q management to take up current issues and develop solutions
- Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Marine Engineering
- Good technical understanding and passion for marine business
- Very good written and spoken English language skills (business fluent)
- Structured and independent working style
- Consideration of both technical and economical aspects in the daily work
- IT skills in Computer Aided Design (CAD), preferably Auto CAD is an advantage
- Willingness to travel
