Morgan Philips is delighted to be exclusively representing a leading company in the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare sector, dedicated to improving lives through innovation and quality healthcare solutions. They are currently seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to join their growing global HR team and will be based in Munich working on a hybrid basis – ideally 2 days per week in the office. My client will also consider a remote worker who can travel to the office 1-2 times per month. This is a full-time role paying 50,000-70,000 EUR pa.
This brand-new role is integral to their mission of fostering a supportive and effective work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert HR advice and support to line managers and employees across various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and learning & development.
- Collaborate with management and the global HR team to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on talent management and organizational development.
- Support recruitment efforts by developing job descriptions, posting job ads, and participating in the selection process to attract top talent in the pharmaceutical and healthcare fields.
- Facilitate and manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
- Address employee inquiries and grievances, fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee engagement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to provide insights and recommendations to management on improving employee retention and satisfaction.
- Conduct employee training sessions and workshops to enhance professional development and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support change management initiatives and drive organizational effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably within the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industry. Industries such as consumer and tech will also be considered.
- Experience working in an established global business.
- Strong knowledge of German labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR analytics tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Fluency in both German and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment and understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
