The Production Technology IT department evaluates and develops software solutions for digitization and the integration of processes and production equipment in order to be able to manufacture developed products in series. The team works with modern development methods and a state-of-the-art technology stack.

Your tasks

• Definition and development of software solutions for the automated connection of innovative production equipment (e.g. machines, camera systems, measurement technology) to our enterprise systems (e.g. MES, SAP, Oracle)
• Agile software development, maintenance and networking of digital systems for automated manufacturing equipment embedded in the software development team and in close coordination with the process and system developers and the internal customer
• Select, evaluate, and coordinate software services in the area of digitization, software projects, and metrology to build long-term partnerships
• Cross-departmental and cross-location (Europe, USA, Singapore) content coordination and collaboration on software-related digitization system architecture issues as well as development of standardized software solutions in the production environment

Your profile

• Successfully completed university studies in the field of (technical) computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable
• Broad positioning (hardware/software integration) with good knowledge of interface technologies as well as OO software programming (e.g. C#, Java)
• Experience in the introduction and integration of system solutions in the context of digitalization in the production environment desirable
• Willingness to drive new topics forward in the dynamic environment of digitalization
• Pleasure in working in a team and high motivation to jointly drive creative and innovative solutions in the field of system development with a focus on mechatronics, robotics, software and digitalization
• Very good knowledge of English and German B1
