Your role:

In the role of a Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development, and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, and in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required:

1. BY TMS Experience in TM, TP, TMOD, and logistics procurement.
2. Strong knowledge of APIs for integration with external applications.
3. Working experience in EDI integrations and Rail Integrations.
4. Knowledge of carrier collaboration module is nice to have.
5. Exceptional communication skills and business & IT stakeholder management.
6. Knowledge of architectural design patterns, performance tuning, and functional and interface designs.
7. Liaise with business users/client managers/specialists to understand the requirements/problem statements.
8. Provide technical leadership to project team(s) to perform design to deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues.
9. Responsible for defining and documenting solution, capturing and documenting non-functional (architectural) requirements.
10. Collaborate with multiple teams from Infosys/customer to arrive at technical and tactical decisions.
11. Provide thought leadership and make decisions independently/interact directly with customers.
12. Facilitate fit/gap analysis, identify impacts, and prepare training related to Supply Planning processes.
13. Involved in deployments/rollouts and day-to-day continuous improvements.
14. Develop and test Custom BY TMS programs to support data conversions & interfaces, reports, enhancements, and forms development.
15. Strong Retail Functional Knowledge.
16. Understand BY TMS Technical Architecture and guide the Technical Team for the same.
17. Coordinate and manage BY Support Ticket as and when it is raised.
18. Replicate and resolve the internal bugs of the system.
19. Developing and Testing new enhancements.
20. Experience in multiple BY TMS application versions.
21. Debug and resolve a variety of issues (bugs, performance, and user) by reading through trace files.
22. Develop utilities, procedures, and documentation upon customer requirements.
23. Maintain application release control (version control).
24. Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution, and operations of applications.
25. Ensure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing new solutions and services.
26. Ability to design and develop POCs to customers on the preferred solution.

Preferred:

1. Experience with Windows/Unix environment.
2. Experience in PL/SQL programming.
3. Experience with Oracle databases – SQL: queries, stored procedures.
4. Strong conceptual understanding in Supply Chain Planning and Optimization.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting skills.
6. Strong Communicator and has Onsite experience.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-changing, dynamic environment.
8. Exhibit a commitment to customer service while building customer partnerships.
9. Knowledge of other JDA modules would be an added advantage.
10. Strong consulting mindset, exceptional client interfacing skills.
11. Prior experience in leading implementation teams would be desirable.
