A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Head of Finance for Real Estate, you will partner with SE, SGRE, and SE RE Management in steering the business by providing transparency of financial data, thereby identifying best solutions for SE globally and supporting the decision-making process. You will be leading a global team of approximately 75 employees. SE Real Estate is a newly merged function, having responsibility for Siemens Energy and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. Financial responsibility extends to approximately €1.1 billion Gross Cost in addition to a current CAPEX volume of approximately €0.7 billion.

How You’ll Make an Impact

1. Global responsibility for the RE value flow to meet stakeholder-oriented and transparent analysis and proactive consulting to develop options for SE.
2. People responsibility and continue our journey to grow our people.
3. Full responsibility for budgeting, global forecasting in collaboration with Hub Heads / SO / SE RE Management, reporting and closing to ensure accuracy and transparency of value flow due to clean books & records.
4. Drive reporting, planning (budget), and forecasting process including reporting routines.
5. Interface with AC for financial issues related to Real Estate topics.
6. Evaluation of financial impacts of major investments, with both a strategic and CAPEX nature.
7. Evaluation and management of risks and opportunities worldwide and across Hubs – ensure respective RIC and ERM requirements. Interface to internal and external audit.
8. Simplification, automation, and digitalization of reporting structures by optimizing FIN IT-system-landscape and processes, in collaboration with Digital Acceleration.

What You Bring

1. Solid leadership experience from a similar role within a Corporate Real Estate or Finance environment.
2. Strong financial background, able to manage complex areas of accounting (lease accounting: IFRS 16).
3. Passionate people leader with a proven track record of growing talents.
4. Open international mindset ready to enable change and add value across the Real Estate environment.
