Project Manager / Technical Manager (m/f/d) Space Studies

As an experienced and committed Project Manager / Technical Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the successful implementation of exciting and complex projects in the national and international defense sector. You will lead interdisciplinary project teams, ensuring efficient collaboration and optimal performance. You will play a key role in the planning, coordination and management of projects to ensure that they are completed on time, cost-effectively and to the highest quality.

Your Tasks

• Support the preparation and implementation of a large EU by managing order processing, program/mission proposals, and internal documentation.
• Leadership of the project team along the complete development of the project.
• Organize and chair regular project meetings to plan and review the project progress.
• Analysis, definition and agreement of the requirements with the project team and the customer(s).
• Identify future program lines and develop creative study approaches in collaboration with our institutional clients.
• Take responsibility for conducting studies or projects resulting from our proposals.
• Lead negotiations, strengthen our relationships with clients, and act as a liaison with key stakeholders in client organizations.
• Be part of a dynamic team where your ideas are valued, offering you the opportunity to shape the aerospace and defence industry.
• Shape the future of the aerospace industry as a Project Manager for proposal management.

Your Qualifications

• Successful completion of studies in aerospace, engineering, or a related field, demonstrating your expertise in the subject matter.
• Relevant practical experience, preferably in the dynamic realm of the aerospace industry, showcasing your hands-on knowledge.
• Knowledge of space projects, including systems and operations.
• Proven expertise in crafting compelling proposals (Proposals), highlighting your ability to create impactful pitches.
• A deep understanding of intricate institutional structures, enabling you to navigate effectively within our challenging environment.
• Passion and knowledge in the aerospace field are not just desirable but form the foundation of our collective success.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong result orientation, operational efficiency and ability to reach pragmatic and timely decisions.
• Proficiency in English is indispensable for this role, with knowledge of German providing an additional advantage.
• Willingness to apply for a personal security clearance is mandatory.
