YOUR TASKS

As a Functional Solution Architect in the field of Engineering Excellence, you will draft and steer the implementation of linked data solutions which satisfy the information need of cross-functional development teams along the V-model in the Business Group Lighting.

Your range of tasks includes the following:

• You use your capability and the necessary foresight to identify concrete potentials where accurate information accessibility makes the difference.
• In close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders and the international Engineering Excellence Network, you will develop and implement the TtM intelligence roadmap.
• You will systematically analyze the structures (development processes, methods, tools & information / data flows) along the V-Model, develop related data models and take responsibility for successful and sustainable implementation of linked data solutions.
• For this you build the bridge between concrete business needs and the technical development of our solutions.
• Furthermore, you have the willingness to proactively share your intensive experience in data modelling / data flow thinking in trainings and coaching of internal customers and promote the expansion of internal and external networks.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed studies in the field of systems engineering, information technology or comparable and practical proven knowledge in the field of data-driven engineering
• Several years of professional experience in a data-driven environment e.g., as interface between business and software development, ideally within the automotive sector
• System knowledge of electronic lighting systems (light, mechanics, electronics) is an advantage
• Profound skills and practical experience in Graph Databases, BI solutions [e.g., Power BI], Query languages [e.g., MS SQL, Spark QL, Graph QL, etc.]
• High analytical and conceptual competence
• Confident manner, assertiveness, pronounced communication and negotiation skills
• Structured, independent way of working and high level of commitment
• Ability to work well and integrate into a motivated, supportive team setting
• First experience in the conception of stakeholder-oriented UIs
• Very good knowledge of German and English
