The Territory Account Manager (German Speaking) is responsible for the strategic and tactical management of defined accounts in your territory including focusing on existing relationships and generation of new business opportunities at leading academic and biopharma accounts within the region you cover. In order to deliver on revenue expectations, the Territory Account Manager will need to build deep partnerships with key users at named accounts and nurture large opportunities through a pipeline/funnel. You will proactively make outbound calls, schedule customer visits in your assigned territory and nurture leads from marketing through to opportunities. This position reports to the Sales Director, EMEA and is part of the EMEA Sales team and will be located in Germany and will be remote. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Utilise technical expertise and strategic thinking to identify and drive revenue growth within named focus accounts by identifying new opportunities to develop business across our full range of products and services. Work cross-functionally to develop an account plan for high potential accounts in your territory that supports our specific business objectives; implement supporting activities, develop key contacts and achieve the revenue goals for each organisation. Provide regular sales forecasts to management regarding both financial and proactive activities output conducted in alignment with individual objectives and revenue goals for your territory. Adopt the Sales Cloud CRM system and use its functionality and content to manage leads, opportunities and provide insight into accounts. Continually provide market feedback to the organisation around customer trends, market development and competitive activities observed within your territory. The essential requirements of the job include: Fluent in both English and German language – strong written and verbal required BSc in a life science discipline (or equivalency in a commercial discipline) with strong experience selling into life science market and experience in protein research, immunology and Immunohistochemistry preferred Ability to build and leverage relationships both internally and externally with key stakeholders to achieve desired results, working across a multi-site team Proficient in managing customer interface and relationship both at scientific end-user level and decision-making level Professional, confident, credible and an enthusiastic team player able to work effectively Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Travel, both domestic and international is required of up to 70%. This will include face-to-face meetings with customers, attendance at conferences, and travelling to sales meetings. There will be occasional international trips for sales meetings or intercompany meetings.
