Your Role & Key Responsibilities

As part of the Customer Success team, you drive the delivery of FactoryPal’s digital manufacturing projects. You are working towards achieving significant manufacturing performance improvements jointly with and for our customers. Your team is the point-of-contact between our customers – leading manufacturing companies – and FactoryPal, delivering jointly operational excellence / lean process programs enabled by cutting-edge smart manufacturing solutions.

  • Jointly with your shopfloor pals you unlock the full potential of process improvements by consequently combining lean management with data & tech-driven process optimization based on FactoryPal’s shop-floor apps.
  • You apply and learn lean and agile project delivery methods to support the delivery of Digital Manufacturing projects in time, budget and quality.
  • You guide FactoryPal’s customers within their digitization initiatives – from the shopfloor team up to the Factory leadership – through change management and performance improvement practices, such as training, communication and performance analytics.
  • With your customers, you actively drive the shop floor transformation by onboarding customers to the FactoryPal solutions, applying change and performance management as well as implementing process improvements.
  • You analyze business, process and machine data, conceptualize shopfloor solutions and implement operational excellence activities based on FactoryPal solutions and based on customer needs.
  • You prepare, explore and analyze various data sets and derive actionable insights to improve our customers manufacturing processes.
  • You create and sustain deep and trustworthy relationships with your customer counterparts as you feel confident to maneuver in a shopfloor environment as well as a board room setting.
  • You are part of a highly innovative, multidisciplinary team to validate innovative concepts and digital solutions being developed for the factory shop floor.

Your Experience & Key Skills

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, ideally with a focus on Production Operations Management.
  • You gained initial project management skills and are acquainted with respective methods & tools.
  • You got insights in process improvement, lean consulting, or operational excellence topics and initiatives in the production/ manufacturing environment – ideally, with a focus on process industry and continuous manufacturing.
  • You are enthusiastic about operational excellence in connection with shop floor management and Industry 4.0.
  • Your strong communication skills allow you to easily share technical concepts to business & customer stakeholders at all levels.
  • You easily apply office productivity and communication tools such as Office 365, Slack, Miro and ClickUp. and ideally have some initial exposure on data analysis, processing and management technologies like Tableau, Grafana, Python and Snowflake.
  • You speak German on native speaker level, and your English is fluent.
