Working student (m/f/d) for Camera Testing in a Space Project

About the Project: PLATO (PLAnetary Transits and Oscillations of stars) is a space mission of the European Space Agency (ESA) aimed at discovering and characterizing exoplanets around bright, nearby stars. The project offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of exoplanet research.

Your Tasks

  • Weekly testing and calibration of a state-of-the-art camera for the PLATO project
  • Documentation and analysis of test results
  • Supporting the team in troubleshooting and optimizing the camera
  • Assisting in the development of testing procedures

Your Qualifications

  • Enrolled student (m/f/d) in physics, engineering, computer science, or related fields
  • Initial experience in measurement technology and data analysis
  • Independent and precise working style
  • Team player with enthusiasm for space
