THE ROLE: The General Manager for Germany will be responsible for spearheading expansion and strategic redevelopment within the region. This position transcends traditional sales management; it is about leading the subsidiary to achieve new levels of success. Potential progression to Country Manager based on a successful track record is a key aspect of this role. The successful candidate will report directly to the company\’s CEO, making this a prime opportunity to influence growth, turn around the regional business, and contribute significantly to global success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet sales targets and expand the customer base in key sectors such as mold & die, aerospace components, and general machining. Lead and scale operations within the German subsidiary, identifying new business opportunities and niches for advanced manufacturing technologies. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to support sustained business growth. Communicate effectively the value proposition through proposals and presentations to a diverse audience. Stay informed on industry trends and shifts, adjusting strategies to navigate market changes. Experienced in selling high-value technical products and solutions to industrial sectors such as mold & die, aerospace, and general machining. Technical background with a deep understanding of CNC milling technologies and applications. Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities. Excellent negotiation and leadership skills. Fluent in English; proficiency in German is required. Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally internationally.
