Test Engineer – Wireless & Mobile Networks (Switzerland)

Job Description: Test Engineer – Wireless & Mobile Network: We’re looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join our team in Switzerland . This role involves end-to-end testing of mobile devices, IoT products, and wireless networks , ensuring compliance with industry standards and seamless integration with operator networks. Key Responsibilities: Perform pre-launch and field testing for smartphones, FWA routers, and IoT devices on 5G, LTE, VoLTE, and VoWiFi networks. Conduct chipset validation (Qualcomm, MediaTek, Spreadtrum) and ensure device compatibility across multiple networks. Execute RF and network optimization tasks, including drive testing, KPI analysis, and troubleshooting coverage/interference issues. Work with QXDM, QPST, Nemo Outdoor, Wireshark, and other tools for log analysis and debugging. Test network protocols such as VoNR, SRVCC, CSFB, and carrier aggregation to enhance performance. Collaborate with operators, R&D teams, and vendors (e.g., Nokia, HMD Global, Motorola, STC, ZAIN, MOBILY) to validate devices. Track issues and manage test cases using JIRA and defect management platforms. Skill Set Required: 5+ years of experience in mobile device testing, network optimization, or RF engineering. Strong knowledge of LTE, 5G NR, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and IMS technologies. Hands-on experience with protocol analysis, network KPIs, and RF performance tuning. Proficiency in testing tools (QXDM, Nemo Outdoor, Wireshark, NetAct, JIRA, etc.). Experience working with mobile operators, vendors, and chipset manufacturers. Fluent in English. #J-18808-Ljbffr
