PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES Global and interconnected supply chains in manufacturing and distribution industries have an immense impact on the requirements for supply chain planning. Intelligent algorithms for customer demand prediction, optimization of inventory and production, intelligent customer order fulfillment and procurement are core components of state-of-the-art software applications. Innovative methods such as advanced order confirmation, demand-driven planning or machine learning are becoming increasingly important. To meet our customers\‘ requirements for intelligent Supply Chain Management functionalities and user-friendly tools, SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and S/4 HANA provide an integrated set of end-to-end processes and capabilities. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS We are looking for a (Senior) Consultant with a focus on supply chain management. The candidate should have an excellent understanding of supply chain processes in S/4 HANA SD and aATP, S/4 HANA MM and/or SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and proven project experience in at least one of those areas. Typical tasks are: Support of our clients in defining and optimizing SCM processes based on SAP S/4 or IBP Implementation of SAP IBP or SAP S/4 HANA according to customer-specific requirements including integration into the system landscape Preparation and execution of customized system demos and proof of concepts Conceptional design and delivery of best practice processes Development of customer specific roadmaps and transformation approaches to facilitate the transition from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA and from SAP APO to IBP Support of services sales with effort estimations, scoping and definition of project value and project setup Licenses sales support with customer workshops, architecture and process definitions Take over responsibility as solution architect, subject matter expert or sub-project lead SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Very good college or university degree Preferred field(s) of study: Information Systems, Business IT, Software Engineering preferably with specialization in Supply Chain, Optimization, Operations Research, Statistical Methods or Logistics Very good process know-how in supply chain, end-to-end process understanding, understanding of integration architecture and tools WORK EXPERIENCE At least 4 years of experience with supply chain management processes At least 4 years of project experience with SAP S4 HANA order to cash (SD, aATP), SAP ECC (SD, ATP), SAP APO (gATP, DP, SNP) or SAP IBP Excellent German and English skills Bring out your best SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
