Career start as Pension Consultant/Actuary with focus on Pensions and People in Deals (Associate / Senior Associate) Prepare actuarial and technical analyses of pension benefits and/or compensation plans, including benefit levels, benchmarking, and valuation. Support on for Swiss and international transactions in the area of HR and pensions by reviewing data on target business, analyzing compensation and benefit (including pension) plan information and by supporting the preparation of reports. Analyze and evaluate the current pension offering of clients in order to help our clients optimizing their pension strategy. Calculate pension and other long-term benefit plans liabilities under IFRS and US GAAP by performing actuarial valuations and preparing reports and contribute to the development of tools and approaches. Support PwC audit teams, technical experts and actuaries by reviewing benefit information reflected in financial statements of our clients and by preparing audit conclusions, including reviewing actuarial valuations. Develop your technical expertise and soft skills through training both on and off the job. Your Skill Set Strong skills and expertise in actuarial science, mathematics, economics/finance, or another technical area, ideally recognized by a qualification or degree. If you have some experience in pension or other long-term benefit plan valuations is an advantage. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (any knowledge on other programming, data analytics or visualization software is an advantage). You like problem solving, and complex puzzles. Some knowledge of international accounting standards and understand how employee benefits are accounted for by companies is an advantage. You pay attention to detail and quality and demonstrate initiative to learn new skills. Open and curious and open for opportunities also outside your main area. You communicate effectively and able to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Comfortable working in German and English. #J-18808-Ljbffr
