Senior Engineer Access & Surveillance (f/m/div)*

<![CDATA[ Be part of our newly established IT Department at Infineon Technologies\' Budapest office, a key hub for our global competence center in IT infrastructure, integration, and security. As a Senior Engineer in Access and Surveillance, you\'ll design, implement, and operate state-of-the-art access control and video surveillance systems, driving innovation and excellence in our global security infrastructure.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to lead the development and implementation of our access control and video surveillance systems. As a key member of our team, you\’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand their security needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements. You\’ll also collaborate with our global team to ensure that our security systems are aligned with our company\’s overall security strategy.
In your new role you will:

• Provide operational IT-support for existing Video Surveillance solutions and Access Control worldwide with focus to Europe
• Be responsible to plan, implement and run the Video Surveillance and Access control platform
• Provide System Maintenance and deploy new Features and Releases
• Problem solve bugs/faults of the implemented systems/software/hardware with direct contact with Vendor companies
• Design and Support projects by taking a Security design from our Security Team and
  • Specifying the Technical Requirements (cameras, badge readers, cabling, server and storage requirements and other items)
  • Getting Installation quotes from 3rd party providers,
  • Finalizing implementation plans with them,
  • Managing the installation process,
  • Assisting with the Final Acceptance of the system with the Security Team. and
  • Hand-over of the system to operations.
• Lead and/or Support IT projects in building and access domain, cut-over and migration activities
• Project Planning including definition of work packages, timelines, costs, resource planning, risk management and stakeholder management
• Work closely with team members in other sites and regions and work collaboratively with Colleagues from other Departments and External companies

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A successfully completed IT education or equivalent IT knowledge with related work experience
• Approximately 3 years of work experience in the administration and handling of various IT systems
• Experience in handling video surveillance and/or access control systems (desired)
• Experience in network and server administration
• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure (network, server administration, databases)
• A high level of stress tolerance and a precise and structured work approach
• Strong teamwork, flexibility, and communication skills
• Fluency in English and Hungarian, both written and spoken.
