Senior External Audit Manager / Sr Manager
Are you a Swiss CPA looking for an exciting next step in your career? This is a unique opportunity to join our client, a niche boutique consulting firm, and take your skills to an international level by relocating to the United States.
Our client is expanding their Swiss/U.S. team and we are supporting them again in looking for a driven professional to join their growing business.
About the Role
You’ll start your journey in Zurich, working closely with a collaborative Swiss team before relocating to one of the firm’s U.S. offices. While Chicago is the preferred location, you’ll also have the flexibility to choose from 7 locations across the U.S., including New York and Houston.
Our client offers full support with relocation and visa processes, ensuring a smooth transition. This role is available at different seniority levels, from Manager to Director, depending on your experience and career goals.
Your Responsibilities:
- Work directly with Swiss clients, leading finance projects and providing tailored advice.
- Manage and review financial audits for annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP, Swiss GAAP, and IFRS.
- Collaborate with tax consultants to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Drive business development efforts to expand the client base in the U.S. market.
- Lead and develop teams, ensuring high-quality results and fostering a collaborative environment.
What You Bring
Technical skills :
- A degree in Business Management, Economics, or a similar field.
- Fluency in German and English is a must, since you will work with Swiss clients the level needs to be business fluent (min. C1/C2).
- Strong experience in assurance services.
- Expertise in Swiss GAAP (Obligationenrecht), IFRS, and US GAAP (additional training will be provided).
