Position
Join us to contribute your technical expertise to our Tendering Team. You will take on responsibility for preparing technical tenders for international power plant projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyse customer requirements during tendering phase and prepare the technical bidding information.
- Prepare budgetary costing of the entire GT mechanical scope consisting of the thermal block and all auxiliary systems.
- Monitor and manage the budgetary cost for material and engineering.
- Develop, shape and optimize offer concepts.
- Calculate gas turbine performance & emission data and check fuel compositions.
- Clarify details requested in customer specification.
- Participate in negotiations & follow up tenders through to contractual completion.
Requirements
Your profile
- Higher education or degree in mechanical engineering.
- Several years of experience in GT or GT auxiliaries R&D, project engineering, project management or sales within the gas turbine industry.
- In-depth knowledge of power plants technology such as GT operation, GT mechanical systems, construction and/or commissioning of gas turbines.
- Reliable, flexible and enthusiastic team player.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in challenging situations.
- Excellent command of English; German is an advantage, further knowledge of Italian would be an asset.
- Be prepared to frequently travel to Genova and/or to customer offices globally (20%-30% of the time).
