Global Mission
To support our growth, we are looking for an experienced Front-End IC Production Manager to run the entire Production Department and its development. Reporting into the VP of IC Operations and with hierarchical responsibility over the Manufacturing Managers, the Shift Leaders and the Production Support Section, this role drives the production department performance and necessary Continuous Improvement Programs to meet the associated KPIs.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensures production targets are defined at necessary frequency and deployed throughout the production organization.
- Responsible for the capacity modelling and adequate tool development for ensuring proper utilization.
- Defines the long-term requirements and plans to meet the global Manufacturing targets (Forecast and Plan).
- Develops the Production Department in line with EM’s IC Operations strategy: human resources (organization, performance and talent management, training and development programs), and continuous improvement (methods, tools and CIPs).
- Plans and organizes the necessary production resources: Production: shifts staffing vs delivery plan, including temporary workforce management; Materials: seamless availability vs production needs.
- Ensures that daily priorities are communicated and understood at all levels of the production organization and acted upon, to ensure seamless day-to-day activity.
- Monitors timely production performance to ensure timely problems solving.
- Implements an effective performance management and training framework at all levels: operators, technicians, shift leaders, etc., and guarantees adequate staffing in all situations.
- Expected perfect “hand-in-hand” work with Front-End departments (Maintenance, Process Engineering, Yield Enhancement & Process Integration, Operations Support), Development Team and external teams (Supply Chain, Technical Services, etc.) to ensure that outputs meet plans as well as quality standards, within established budget.
- Guarantees adequate setup and enforcement of all clean room policies, including cleanliness, 5S, health, and safety precautions meet industry requirements and standards.
- Establishes tools to monitor production performance to senior management and ensures timely availability of relevant reports on an ongoing basis.
- Management of the test wafer system to ensure an optimized stock of test wafers ready for use, whilst remaining within the test wafer budget.
