We are currently working with a leading medical device firm looking for an Automation Specialist to join their team in Switzerland. You will be part of a reputable organisation helping to improve patients‘ lives.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing in-depth knowledge in production support.
- Evaluating and implementing new production technologies as well as optimizing existing production processes.
- Defining, specifying, and validating manufacturing and testing processes.
- Planning and executing process expansions through automation/partial automation.
- Supporting maintenance and troubleshooting of existing automation solutions.
- Analyzing, optimizing, and documenting production workflows.
- Identifying cost and quality optimization opportunities.
- Organizing and coordinating cross-departmental activities.
- Maintaining machinery.
An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Completed training/apprenticeship as an automation technician or a comparable technical education.
- Experience with highly automated systems.
- Autonomous working style and strong communication skills.
- Fluency in German.
- Proficiency in English is an added advantage.
