We are seeking an experienced IT Outsourcing / Third Party Risk Manager to oversee and manage the risks associated with outsourcing and critical third party arrangements. The role involves ensuring that all outsourced activities comply with regulatory, contractual, and security requirements, while supporting risk assessments for third-party relationships, IT sourcing, and other strategic risk areas. This position plays a key role in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, as well as providing holistic oversight and monitoring of outsourcing and third-party engagements.
YOUR CHALLENGE
IT Sourcing and Risk Management:

Develop and maintain the guidelines and procedures within IT with regards to Outsourcing and Third Party Risk Management.

Collaborate with the IT department team members to evaluate and mitigate risks associated with outsourcing and Third Party Risk.

Assess the security, compliance, and performance risks of IT vendors, particularly in areas like cloud services, data processing, and software development.

Ensure that IT sourcing activities align with the company’s overall risk appetite and sourcing strategy principles.

Establish monitoring mechanisms to track outsourcing and third-party risk performance.

Prepare regular reports for senior management and risk committees, highlighting risk exposures, mitigation strategies, and compliance issues related to outsourcing and third-party vendors.

Manage projects, project streams related to IT Governance, Risk or Outsourcing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with procurement, legal, compliance, business units, and other IT departments to ensure outsourcing and third-party risk management practices are integrated and aligned with organizational objectives.

Support project teams with risk assessments and ensure that risk management principles are applied consistently across outsourcing and third-party engagements.

Strong collaboration with CISO department on cyber and information security requirements.
Regulatory and Compliance Support:

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements related to outsourcing, third party risk, operational resilience.

Assist in internal and external audits related to third-party and outsourcing risks.
YOUR PROFILE

At least 10 years of experience in the area of risk management, outsourcing, third party risk management ideally within IT.

Sound understanding of regulatory guidelines related to outsourcing, third party risk and operational risks.

Strong experience in project management.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
-
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to outsourcing and third-party risk management.

Experience in conducting vendor risk assessments, managing SLAs, and mitigating risks in outsourcing arrangements.

Proficiency in risk management software and tools, as well as strong data analysis and reporting skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
