Job Title: Product Support Engineer – CellXpress.aiMolecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a highly skilled Product Support Engineer to join our team in Salzburg, Austria.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality engineering support to meet Field Service and external customer needs on our CellXpress.ai Automated Cell Culture System.This role involves generating documentation, conducting hardware and software training, and providing direct escalation support to the Field Service Engineering and Technical Support teams.The ideal candidate will have a B.S. or higher in a Life Science discipline or in Engineering, with 5+ years of professional work experience as a hands-on engineer in a life science company or discovery laboratory environment.Key Responsibilities:Generate documentation and conduct hardware and software training to enable support of the customized product by field service engineers and technical support.Provide direct escalation support to the Field Service Engineering and Technical Support teams for CellXpress and related products.Perform risk management to minimize CellXpress serviceability risks.Provide project execution support for CellXpress products to ensure they meet service requirements prior to shipment.Requirements:Education: B.S. or higher in a Life Science discipline or in Engineering is required.5+ years of professional work experience as a hands-on engineer in a life science company or discovery laboratory environment.Ability to travel (up to 30%) to visit customers or provide technical training domestic and international.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with liquid handling instruments, incubators and robotics a plus.Demonstrated success in managing multiple activities/projects, priorities, or people in a fast-paced, high-growth, results-driven environment.Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical/problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.Benefits:Molecular Devices offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
