We’re looking for motivated students to join our 2025 Group Risk Control Graduate Talent Program.
You’ll get to
- understand and assess client’s business models and constructively evaluate assumptions and financial projections
- evaluate credit requests for multinational & complex corporates, develop and implement credit strategies and autonomously take credit decisions and understand client’s businesses, debt capacity, rating and other risk relevant parameters
- collaborate in cross functional deal teams comprising Origination, Risk Control, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets and Legal in the context of important transactions
- learn about and monitor known risks, while also discovering and defining unknown risks
- examine complex transactional risks and offer meaningful inputs in line with our risk control frameworks
- actively participate in and support team tasks and projects
- get to know our risk modeling techniques to ensure that risk-based returns are appropriate
Your team
You’ll be working in the Risk Control Multinationals team in Zurich. We, a group of enthusiastic credit experts, cover large, complex and bespoke credit transactions from the bank’s corporate & multinational clients. This includes leveraged and non-leveraged transactions as well as bilateral and syndicated loan transactions.
Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- has completed their bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferably in economics, finance or business administration) no longer than 18 months prior to the program start date
- has good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
- is a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
- has sharp problem solving skills
- has a structured work style, great at working collaboratively
- has good interpersonal skills
- fluency in German (mandatory) and good command in English (written and oral)
