Context: The HR Specialist provides support on employment-related matters and supports HR administration and operational activities in the local affiliate.
Purpose of the job: The HR Specialist gives day to day administrative and operational HR support. He/she manages all day to day activities and duties concerning employer/employee relations, while being involved in the development of an effective HR policy and department in the long run.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Recruitment and On- and offboarding:
- Execute the full recruitment cycle: job postings, resume screening, interviewing, negotiating, and closing offers, preparing all the necessary documents.
- Guide hiring managers and candidates through the recruitment process, ensuring alignment with Daiichi Sankyo’s culture.
- Lead the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Guide and execute the full offboarding process.
- Employee Engagement and Training:
- Participate in projects of employee engagement and internal communication.
- Support training initiatives and professional development opportunities for employees.
- Performance Management, Payroll, and Budget Planning:
- Assist in Global Performance Management processes including (but not limited to) reviews, goal setting, and year end finalization.
- Prepare and manage monthly timesheets and collaborate with the payroll provider for accurate payroll processing.
- Support budget management and personnel expense processes.
- Employer Branding and Communication:
- Conduct employer branding activities and support corporate communication efforts.
- Handle HR and corporate communications procurement processes.
- General HR administration, HRIS and Compliance:
- Update and maintain the HRIS (Success Factors) ensuring data accuracy.
- Keep HR documents, regulations, and policies up to date.
- All HR related tasks related to Job Descriptions in our JDxpert system.
- Manage absences and time management.
- Follow trends in HR and best practices for continuous improvement.
- Comply with local regulations and Daiichi Sankyo policies.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Management Engineering, Labor Economics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Motivated with a positive attitude and a “can do” mindset.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player and lateral thinker.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Proficient in MS Office programs.
- Strong desire to build a career in HR.
