- conduct numerical simulations with the boundary element method,
- run parameter studies from which favorable parameter combinations can be derived,
- the implementation of an adaptive parameter choice based on the results of parameter studies,
- the set-up of a data source for verification and validation cases,
- and more possible tasks in the context of numerical mathematics and hydrodynamics.

If you are affiliated in the period of the contract (start date + 6 months) with a master’s program in: Mathematics or Techno Mathematics, Computational Science, Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Theoretical Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Gewünschte Qualifikationen
As the topics are related to numerical methods, hydrodynamics and programming (Matlab and C++), an interest and further knowledge in this field would be even more favorable for the above-mentioned tasks.
Payment
