APPLICATION ENGINEER (M/F/D)
YOUR MISSION
We are looking for an Applications Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on Product Documentation.
Our customers are building everything from small personal robots, to gigantic machines that fill a factory.
We’re looking for a professional to take responsibility for the documentation that gets our customers quickly off the ground.
As you and your teammates collect ideas from talking to customers and visiting their workshop, you will write, organize, and publish the documentation online. If you need to understand an application in person, we’ll fly you there. Instead of helping one person at a time, your mission is to help everyone at once!
You will develop close relationships with our product engineering team to ensure our products are accurately described, and will give feedback on how customers can benefit from new or improved features.
YOUR PROFILE
You really enjoy learning about technical topics, making sense of them, and explaining them to others. You likely have a degree in some engineering field, and the robotics industry fascinates you.
You have a very strong competency with written communication in English. You notice when something is well written, and you find yourself reverse engineering the structure to apply it to your own writing. When words aren’t enough, you can sketch out a drawing to help make the point clear. You are great at organizing a bunch of information into structures that are easy to navigate. At the same time, you can quickly understand the important aspects of a customer’s robotic requirements, and reason about how our products fit in. You can easily pick up the phone to call someone, and enjoy talking to customers to help them find solutions.
Our products are born from a fusion of multiple disciplines, so any experience with servo drives, motion control, industrial automation, and mechatronics will help a lot!
Ideally you should bring experience in logistics automation, better motion control for AGV (automatic guided vehicle) and AMR (autonomous mobile robots).
