Requirements

  • Ideally, you have completed a degree in sustainability management, environmental sciences, business administration or a comparable field, preferably with a textile background.
  • Accordingly, you have professional experience in the field of ESG reporting, sustainability management or project management.
  • Basic knowledge of ESG standards (CSRD, NFRD, EU taxonomy)
  • You have the ability to familiarize yourself independently and quickly with new subject areas.
  • Persuasiveness and negotiating skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Advising and supporting management in setting strategic ESG goals and measures.
  • Implementation and further development of the requirements of international and national standards (CSRD, SBTi, BEPI, BSCI, etc.).
  • Introduction and implementation of sustainability measures.
  • Management of cross-departmental projects to promote sustainability (e.g. environmental management, sustainable product development).
  • Collection and analysis of ESG data to determine relevant key figures and reporting according to international standards (e.g. CSRD, EU taxonomy).
  • Support and preparation of audits by relevant certification bodies.
  • Promotion of internal and external sustainability communication.
  • Representation of the company in relevant networks and at industry events.
  • Determination of requirements, scheduling and procurement processing (national/international).
  • Preparation of inquiries and offer comparisons as well as negotiation of price and contract conditions.
  • Monitoring of delivery dates and internal coordination with the departments concerned.
  • Support of the supply chain / search for alternative sources of supply.
