Your New Responsibilities

Globally driving Technology Scouting to ensure future success of Vitesco Technologies
Collecting, evaluating and analyzing global trends for automotive applications
Identifying relevant technology trends and deriving recommendations for action for the development departments and for the Vitesco Technologies Strategy
Independent development of regular trend analyses, trend visualizations (radar) and technology reports in order to identify concrete requirements for future products
Regular reporting and presentation of the trend results to the Vitesco Technologies Management and other stakeholders in a transparent and comprehensive way
Tool responsibility for several scouting databases
Coordinating global and regional technology scouting activities in close collaboration with regional Technology & Innovation, Business Units and Business Development
Developing and facilitating creative workshops to develop input for new projects
Active management and expansion of the global Vitesco Technologies scouting network
Cooperating with external stakeholders, such as suppliers, universities, research institutes
Finding and analyzing relevant Start-Ups to ensure our future business
Keeping contact with all relevant Vitesco Technologies locations and markets to find the best future solutions worldwide

Your Profile:

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study, or an equivalent qualification
Long-term technical experience in Automotive Engineering
Several years of expertise in Automotive Electronics and/or Drive Systems
Competence in the analysis and evaluation of technological innovations, including evaluation of Start-Ups and Intellectual Property
Expertise in technology scouting, innovation methods and tools
Fluent written and spoken English and German skills
Experience dealing with and presenting to top management
Experience in working in interdisciplinary teams
Open and respectful team player with very good communication skills
