Overview

Our client is a leading global construction group currently sitting in the top 20 worldwide for civil and infrastructure works.

With an annual turnover of EUR 17 billion and over 80,000 employees worldwide, they are renowned for their involvement and leading on some of the world\’s most iconic civil infrastructure projects.

Your Role

As the business continues to expand, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Contract Manager to support them on the different projects they have in Germany.

You will be ideally based in Germany and you will have experience with contract and claims management ideally on tunnelling projects.

Responsibilities will include drafting claims, change orders, variation orders as well as contract negotiation and claims management.

Native or full professional German proficiency is a must.

You

As an experienced Contract Manager, fluent in German, you will be a degree-qualified quantity surveyor, engineer or construction manager. You will know about employer and subcontractor management, have knowledge of FIDIC contract, contract negotiation and drafting, claims and variation orders. Furthermore, it is essential that you have experience writing claims letters and drafting contract narratives. Finally, you will have a stable work history and will be seeking a permanent appointment with the business in Germany.
