Solution Engineer - Automic (UC4)

Your Part in this Growth Story:

Stonebranch is seeking a Solution Engineer for our team in Frankfurt, Germany. As a Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional services related to our product portfolio to customers across the EMEA region, either remotely or on-site at customer premises.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in UC4 (Automic) with hands-on experience in automating processes, managing workflow transitions, and deploying automation solutions in complex environments.

This is a hybrid position – 3 days/week onsite and 2 days/week remote – and is based in our Frankfurt, Germany office. This position will report to the EMEA Director of Professional Services.

Your Impact on The Organization:

The right candidate will be interested in supporting a broad range of activities. Job responsibilities include:

• Deliver services related to Stonebranch’s product portfolio to our customers in post-sales projects, remotely or at customer locations.
• Lead the installation, configuration, and data transition processes from legacy WLA tools to Stonebranch’s products, ensuring smooth deployments and efficient transitions.
• Develop and maintain customized software to deploy Stonebranch’s product functionality, adapting it to customer-specific needs.
• Offer expert consultancy to customers on Stonebranch’s products, as well as specific product implementations and deployments.
• Support pre-sales activities including Proof of Concepts (PoCs), demos, conversions, and other sales activities by providing product/project expertise.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

• 3-7 years of experience in IT automation, with hands-on experience in UC4 and other Automic/Broadcom systems, including designing, deploying, and troubleshooting automated workflows.
• Proficiency in the UC4 Automation Engine scripting language, including expertise in Job Execution, Variables, Scheduling, and Error Handling.
• Knowledge of other scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, and shell scripting to enhance automation tasks.
• Familiarity with SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and operating systems, including UNIX/Linux, Windows Server, and z/OS and cloud concepts.
• Knowledge of web application containers like Tomcat.
• Understanding workload automation systems and their best practices.
• Customer-oriented service attitude with a focus on delivering quality and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and solutions.
• Willingness to travel as needed for project and client requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or certification in a relevant STEM field.
• Fluency in English and German (both written and verbal) required to be considered.
• Desired some experience with classroom and remote training.
