Your future area of responsibility
- Monitoring and ensuring the operation of the entire Windows server infrastructure including the storage & backup system (Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Veeam)
- Further development of the server landscape and collaboration on projects and management of sub-projects
- Monitoring and securing the virtualized servers (VMWare)
- Independent analysis, prioritization and rectification of technical faults
- First and second level support for Windows clients, hardware and software
- Support with IT issues for employees from all locations
- Mobile devices, printers and telephony
- Communication, clarification and control of external service providers and manufacturers
- Maintenance and management of documentation
- Support in various projects in the field of systems engineering
Your profile
- As a basis, you have successfully completed training as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d) or equivalent training, possibly with additional training
- You have proven experience in managing company networks
- You are also familiar with the topics around 1st and 2nd level support
- You have experience in the areas of Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Server and virtualization with VMWare
- You are familiar with backup concepts (Veeam)
- You have good knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, routing, firewall, end point protection
- Basic knowledge of ITIL (possibly ITIL Foundation)
- You have knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Good English skills round off your profile
