Your mission
WANTED: Airfreight Speacialist for Bertling Germany – Kaufleute für Spedition- und Logistikdienstleistungen (m/f/d)

- Shipment coordination and processing for air freight export & import
- Shipment tracking and order review
- Rate negotiations and placing orders with airlines
- Preparation of freight documents as well as freight invoices and outgoing invoices
- Preparation, monitoring, and checking of customs documents
- Monitoring compliance with dangerous goods regulations
- Monitoring of transport processes and loading of cargo (sometimes also on site)
- Checking incoming invoices
- Creation of reports
- Comprehensive cost control for every transport
- Customer support, mainly in English
- Controlling, monitoring, and reporting on current project status
Your profile
- Completed studies in forwarding and logistics services
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the air freight sector
- Professional experience in a comparable position in an international environment
- Experience in export/import/cross trades, air freight, sea freight and land transport
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Cost-conscious behavior and reliability
- High customer service awareness
- Team spirit, passion, commitment and proactive
- Communication skills and sociability
- Independent and goal-oriented work
- §7 Aviation security check
- Completed IATA CAT 6 dangerous goods training
