About our client
We are working with a well-established mid-market Private Equity firm that is aiming to grow regional firms into international market leaders. With over €1 bn. AUM and further offices in London, Luxembourg, Madrid and Paris, they invest across various sectors such as Business and Tech services, Healthcare, Consumer and Industrials. They are now looking to hire an additional Associate for their team in Munich.
In this position, you will be involved in all aspects of a deal cycle from A to Z, with an emphasis on deal origination and sourcing. The geographic focus lies on the DACH region.
This is a unique opportunity to kick-start and develop your career within flat hierarchies as well as high responsibility from day one.
What the job involves
- Work closely with other members of the team to research the DACH region and originate investment opportunities
- Involvement in all elements of the private equity deal cycle from A to Z
- High degree of responsibility from the start, working within a flat hierarchy
- Screen opportunities, execute due diligence and be fully involved in the process through to closure and post-investment monitoring
Who we are looking for
- Excellent academics with a Master\’s degree from leading universities
- Initial work experience in Investment Banking
- Stand-out technical skills – analysis, modelling, process management
- First-class commercial judgement and a dynamic and entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong origination capability and confident interpersonal skills to work in a team
- Native German and fluent English are required
