About the software:
Our product is a SaaS B2B platform that supports companies on their entire sustainability journey, with a focus on the one thing that will help our planet: Reducing emissions. And yes, we also use AI to do so.
Tasks
- Act as the primary interface between stakeholders, customers, engineers, and data scientists, responsible for the product development of a section within our climate center.
- Conduct the entire product development cycle, from gathering customer voices through requirements analysis to conceptualization, prioritization, software development, and quality assurance in a cross-functional team.
- Work as part of a group of product owners to realize a shared product vision, translating complex technical concepts into business-friendly language and aligning stakeholders to common goals.
- Collaborate closely with our CTO (Florian), our Product Lead (Lea), and our Sustainability Lead (Yacin) to translate customer requirements into new concepts.
How we work:
- Daily and weekly coordination and concept meetings within the product and development team.
- Weekly stakeholder meetings to discuss a shared product roadmap with various flight levels and gather customer feedback.
- Work in an industry-standard SCRUM process (daily, refinement, planning, review, retrospective) with two-week sprints in a cross-functional engineering team.
Requirements
- Must reside in the EU (CET ±3) and have a valid work permit.
- 5+ years of experience in product management.
- Must be fluent in German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, precise language.
- Must have knowledge and/or work experience with EU regulations (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, GHG Protocol) or Product Lifecycle Assessments (P-LCA).
- Strong knowledge of at least one agile method (SCRUM or Kanban).
- Excellent knowledge and experience with common product management and prioritization frameworks.
- Proficient with planning, wireframing, task management, documentation, and conceptual tools like Figma / Figjam and JIRA, etc.
- Hands-on mentality, agile mindset, and business-oriented action.
- Proven track record of successfully launching multiple products or services, with the ability to handle complexity and simplify it for others.
- Passionate about combating the climate crisis and creating customer-oriented solutions that provide real value.
- Plus: University degree in computer science (Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D.).
- Plus: Experience in an early-stage or growth-stage startup.
