HSE Specialist
ALTEN Italy , a leading force in the IT, Engineering and Life Sciences industries, is on the lookout for a vibrant and driven HSE Specialist to join our team in a new project in Germany .
We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Specialist to join our team near Frankfurt, Germany. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction sites and/or industrial plants , with a strong focus on occupational safety, environmental compliance, and document management. This role is crucial in ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities
- Occupational Safety (Health & Safety)
- Identify and assess risks related to workplace safety (DVR, DUVRI, POS, etc.).
- Verify the implementation of safety measures, including the proper use of PPE, signage, and procedures.
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Investigate accidents and near misses, proposing corrective and preventive actions.
- Organize training sessions and raise awareness among staff on safety and prevention measures.
- Coordinate with RSPP, ASPP, supervisors, and workers to maintain operational safety.
- Monitor and mitigate the environmental impact of activities on-site.
- Ensure proper management of waste, emissions, and discharges according to regulations.
- Guarantee compliance with environmental laws and certifications (ISO 14001, permits, etc.).
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies for continuous environmental improvement.
- Coordination and Documentation Management
- Ensure all HSE procedures are up-to-date and properly followed.
- Prepare and manage HSE reports and maintain relevant certifications (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Participate in safety meetings and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with regulatory and control bodies (ASL, Fire Brigade, ARPA, etc.) to ensure compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within construction sites, industrial plants, or pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Experience in risk assessment, safety audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to train and influence employees on HSE matters.
- Excellent proficiency in English and Italian (C1 level).
