The Department of Neurosurgery at the University Hospital Freiburg under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Jürgen Beck and Dr. Vidhya M. Ravi is looking for a study assistant to join our team. This role is crucial to supporting cutting-edge research on human brain tissue and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) to advance neuroscience and neuro-oncology studies.

Insight into your tasks:
- Keep accurate records of collected samples and patient data in research databases
- Carry out patient care according to protocol and work instructions
- Assist in the collection, handling, and processing of human brain tissue and cerebrospinal fluid samples
- Close collaboration with neurosurgeons, researchers, and clinical staff to enable smooth research processes
Your profile:
- Completed training as a nurse, medical assistant (m/f/d), or in a comparable profession.
- At least two years of experience as a study nurse or study coordinator (m/f/d).
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills: English (at least B2) and German (at least C1).
- Good IT knowledge.
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to perform.
- Experience in dealing with patients.
- Previous experience in administrative activities is an advantage.
- The position is initially limited to 2 years.
